Working within the fitness industry during COVID-19

Qualifying in March and working within fitness for the past 5 years, I never thought I’d face something like what 2020 has bought us.

Working within fitness whilst covid-19 is present has transformed the fitness industry into something no one could have predicted.

We are no longer allowed the freedom to walk the gym as we please; we are 24/7 cleaning and our hands are drying up because of the amount of hand washing we are doing. Masks are the new makeup and were learning how far apart six feet is.

This didn’t just change our physical beings for the worst but also our mental being, those who use exercise to escape are struggling to find their new niche, those competing in bodybuilding competitions are struggling to keep a focus and we are all wondering when normal will come back if it ever will.

But… having said all this. As someone who is used to challenges, in life both personal and professional, covid-19 was nothing but a new one to face and overcome.

If you’re finding you’re struggling with no gym and having nowhere to workout, try to get creative. Remember, we’re all in the same boat. And in fact, years and years of gym training have possibly reduced our creativity and ability to know HOW to workout without the gym.

It doesn’t have to be like this, you can transform your life and your workouts WITHOUT the gym.

Stop doubting yourself.
